You can find out what your local water system reports about the water delivered to your home. The report is public and free, and you do not have to give anyone your email address, including us.
Your water system already publishes a report
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires every community water system to prepare and deliver a Consumer Confidence Report, or CCR, each year. The report is due to customers by July 1.
A CCR summarizes the water sources your system uses, what it detected, whether it complied with applicable requirements, and educational information about your water. It comes from your water system, not from a brand trying to sell you a product.
How to find yours
- Open the EPA's official Consumer Confidence Report search.
- Select your state and water system. If you do not know the system's name, check your water bill.
- Open the newest report and search for chlorine and chloramine.

If the report is difficult to read, send it to hola@lumitez.com and we will help you understand it in English or Spanish. You do not need to buy anything.
Why the local report matters
Disinfection serves an important public-health purpose. Water systems may use chlorine, chloramine, or other disinfectants to control microbial pathogens. Systems and reported levels vary, so your own CCR is a better source than a generic claim about every city.
Read the report first. It tells you what your water system reports and helps you decide whether a shower filter addresses what you care about.
What we sell
Lumitez is an inline shower filter designed to install between the wall arm and showerhead. It has an engraved ABS housing with a chromium-plated finish, and each unit includes one replaceable cartridge.
Lumitez is available by paid preorder. $69 per unit, paid in full today. Free shipping. Ships no later than September 15, 2026; cancel for a full refund any time before shipment.
It does not purify drinking water, soften hard water, remove heavy metals, or diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you need one of those things, this is not the right product.
If you only came for your city's report, the official search is above. It is free, it is public, and you owe us nothing.
